Dear All MLL Players:

Later this morning we will be officially announcing our new TV deal with ESPN. There are several elements of this deal that we are very excited about and I wanted to share with each of you.

To start, 6 of our games will be aired live on ESPN2. 4 of these live games will air in primetime (1 Friday, 3 Thursday) and 2 on Sunday afternoon. The other 5 games will air on a tape delay basis.

The contract has the ability to run for 10 years in length.

Games will also be aired on ESPN International, as well as ESPN 360. ESPN also has the rights to air games on ESPN Classic.

Production will be given a major boost as we anticipate the following elements will be added to the broadcast this year.

This contract represents the longest commitment that any network has given to professional lacrosse. It is a step in the right direction for the league.
